v  What is Macromedia flash 8?

Macromedia Flash  is a multimedia and software platform used for creating vector graphics, animation, browser games, rich Internet applications, desktop applications, mobile applications and mobile games.

v  How to create slide presentation by macromedia flash 8?

Teacher and students always do presentation in the teaching learning process. They usually use microsoft power point to create slide. In this moment, I will explain about how to make slide presentation by macromedia flash for beginner. To begin, launch the macromedia flash 8 program. The following screen will be displayed:

Choose the new document in the box, under the Create new. The screen will be displayed

 After that, you must prepare material that you want to put in presentation slide. This is tutorial to create slide presentation. The are three slide for presentation.

1.Create three buttonby using rectangle toolsin layer 1. Give the named of three box :Home, Profile, and Material.

2. Make navigation in each button for move the slide by click the button . For example make navigation for profilebutton by write script in action box - button.

You can make navigation in other button like material and home with same way.

3. Please set the frame as your need, for example set the frame in the frame 10, right click and choose “insert frame.”

4. Click first frame to add explanation to the first page, for example you can write Profile in the first page.

5. Click frame two, right click and choose “insert keyframe” then change th explanation in first page to next eplanation

6. Inser layer 2 and change the name become Action. Give action script in the frame

7. In the layer 2, create next and preview button and give. Right click in the button and choose convert to symbol – button.

8. After that gibe action script in action box like this :

9. To add background,  Insert layer 3 and change the name become background. Right click in the last frame and choose “insert frame” and choose the background that you want in “Insert menu – library”.

10. Save file and publish by click file menu and publish setting. Set format as you like for example .swf.

11. Click publish and Ok.

12. You can add sound to make your slide more interesting by click Insert menu

Creating Animation Story by using alice 3.1 application

§  What is Alice?

Alice is 3D animation maker. It is Used to teach : Programming concepts, Objects and classes, Methods, functions, and properties, Conditionals (if and else), Iteration (looping), Recursion, Event-driven programming. Alice also very helpful to teach language, for example teaching literary. Teacher can create 3D animation story by using alice. Student will be easy to understand the story and they also interesting watching 3D animation.

§  How to use Alice 3.1?

In this moment, I will give tutorial to create short story by using alice. To begin, launch thealice program. The following screen will be displayed:

1.wait several minutes until the display change become

 2. Choose one of template as you like and appropriate with your story. For example you choose grass template.

3. Click your template, wait until display change become

3. Select object in the library as you like in the gallery. You can add person, animals, things that appropriate with your story.

4. Click the object and change the name of your object as you like.

5. change the position and the size of your object by using handle syle. Change selected object to the object that you want to change.

how to creating the method

To teach an object to do a new thing :

1.Click edit code . The display will be change become

2. Choose the object that you want to give method. Select the method that as you like, drag and down in the side of method name.

I have an video of story animation. The story is about princess alice. There is a princess in the castle called alice. She has some guard to save her. One day there are some animals like tortoise, cat, etc want to meet the princess but the princess does not well enough to g outside. She getting sick. She want to meet the animals but one of guard give opinion to princess stay in her room. This video use for senior high school about expression asking and giving opinion. This is my method to create this animation. There are three part :

Ø  Drag and down alice turn right – get left shoulder

Ø  Drag and down alice turn left- get right shoulder

Ø  Drag and down alice turn forward – get left hip

Ø  drag and down alice turn backward – get right hip.

Ø  Drag and down alice turn forward – get right knees

Ø  Drag and down alice move forward

Collect all method in do together, you can set detail as you like

      What is hot potatoes?

Hot Potatoes are software that allows you to make interactive web games and puzzles for students.

Types of applications that can be created with this software include, but are not limited to:

-          Self-graded quizzes (J-Quiz, J-Cloze)

-          Drag and drop matching exercises(J-Match, J-Mix)

-          Crossword puzzles(J-Cross).  

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a quiz from hot potatoes version 6.

To begin, launch the Hot Potatoes program. The following screen will be displayed:

      Creating a quiz by hot potatoes

1. Creating J-Quiz:

J-Quiz is self-graded quiz. There are four types of J-Quiz. Multiple choice, multiple select, hybird, and short answer. This is tutorial to create J-Quiz.

 1. Click on the Potato labeled J-Quiz. A dialog box will be displayed asking whether Beginner or Advanced mode is desired.

2. Click “yes” to start in Beginner mode. The following screen will be displayed

3.  In the Title box, type in the name of the quiz.  This function allows you to give the quiz a name.

4.  To select the quiz type, use the drop-down menu immediately to the right of the Q(n) box. 

5.  Select Multiple-choice in the drop-down menu on the right.

6.  Begin creating the questions, answers, and feedback. 

     a. Type the question in the Q(n) box (where "n" is the question number for example Q1). 

     b. Type the acceptable answers (multiple choice) in the A, B, C, and D boxes under the Answers column.

     c. If you wish to leave feedback, type the desired feedback for each answer in the boxes in the Feedback column.

     d. Check the box next to the multiple choice option that is correct under the Settings column.

7. Save the file if you finished write the quiz.

2. Creating J-Cloze Quiz

J-Cloze is fill in the gap exercise. This is tutorial to create the excercise.

1. Click on the Potato labeled J-Cloze. The following screen will be displayed

2. In the Title box, writethe theme of the quiz.  This function allows you to give the quiz a name.

3. In the box under the table, write the quiz.

4. Drag the word that you want to lose and then click drag box. You can add the clue of the lose word in the display box.

5. Save the file if you finished write the quiz.

6. See your file by click the network box on the top and under the manager item. Choose view the exercise in my browser to see and choose upload for uploading.

3. There are two box under the tittle, Left and right items.  You can put the picture in the left or the right by click insert - picture.

4. After put the picture in the left, you can write the tittle of the picture in disordered in the right and conversely.

5. Save the file if you finished write the quiz.

4. Creating J-Cross quiz

J-Cross is crossword pazzle quiz. This is tutorial to create crossword pazzle by J-Cross

1. Click on the Potato labeled J-Match. The following screen will be displayed

2. In the tittle box, you write the theme of your exercise.

3. Write the word in the box beside the tittle. You can write to left or right. You must connect one word with others.

4. Click add clues box to give clue in each word.

5. Creating J-Mix quiz

J-Mix is put the word in order. This is tutorial to creat J-Mix quiz.

3. In the main sentences box, you write your sentence in order.

4. In the alternative sentence, you write your alternative answer in order. You may fill this box and you also may not fill this box.

6. Creating J-Masher

J-Masher is the place for collect your j-cloze, j-cross, j-match, j-quiz, and j-mix. This is tutorial to create J-Masher

1. Click on the Potato labeled J-Masher. The following screen will be displayed

2. Click add file to add your file that you want to collect in one.

3. Click index box beside source to give the tittle of quiz collection.

4. Click build unit to build your file and you will see the tittle of different quiz.

5. If you click one tittle, you will see your file.

      How to change the appeareance of your quiz?

You can set your appearance as you like. This is the step to change it.

1.Click “option” bottom in the top

2. Choose “configure output”, you will see many bottom to setting your quiz.

3. If you want to change the size of word and backgroud, you can setting the appearane. If you want to give timer, you can setting the timer, etc.

     Ini tahun pertama aku bersama dia. 1 tahun sudah aku melewati hari-hari bersama dia. Dia memang sangat mencintaiku. Hampir 1 tahun aku bersamanya, tak pernah sedetik pun dia membuatku meneteskan air mata. Hanya saja dia sedikit posesif. Dia melakukan hal itu karena tidak ingin kehilangan aku. Aku sangat mengerti apa maksudnya. Dia selalu berusaha memberikan yang terbaik buatku. Sangat berbeda denganku. Entah kenapa aku masih menyimpan rasa untuk Vicky, lelaki yang pernah singgah di hatiku kemudian pergi tanpa alasan yang jelas. Dia terlalu sibuk dengan kesibukannya sehingga lupa denganku kemudian mengakhiri semuanya dengan alasan tak mau menyakitiku. Aku masih sangat mencintainya bahkan saat ini aku sangat merindukannya. Berhari-hari Vicky hadir di mimpiku, belum lagi teman-teman selalu memberi info terbaru tentang kehidupannya dan yaaa..., itu semua sangat menyiksaku. Vicky seperti matahari sementara aku bulan. Bagaimanapun matahari dan bulan tak akan bisa bersatu. Aku menutupi semua rasa itu dari kekasihku. Aku tak ingin dia mengetahui perasaan ku sesungguhnya. “kalau memang hatimu masih buat dia, kembalilah Ren. Aku akan merelakan kamu wlaupun sampai kapanpun aku gak akan pernah bisa melupakanmu. Aku teramat sangat mencintaimu.” Itulah ucapan Angga saat dia memergoki aku tengah mengirim pesan pada Vicky lewat facebook. Aku memang keterlaluan, aku mengaku pada Vicky bahwa aku masih belum bisa move on dari dia. Setelah Angga memergoki ku, aku tak pernah melakukan hal bodoh itu lagi. Biarlah aku sendiri yang menyimpan semuanya. Suatu hari Tuhan mempertemukan aku dengan Vicky di sebuah cafe. Saat itu aku bersama dengan Angga sementara dia dengan teman-temannya. Aku tak sengaja bertemu dia di depan toilet. Kami tampak terkejut ketika kami bertabrakan. Cukup lama saling pandang tanpa ada sepatah kata terucap.

“Kamu sama siapa?” tanya nya padaku.

“sama Angga.” Jawabku singkat.

“Semakn lengket saja. Semoga langgeng ya.” Ucap dia sambil bergegas pergi.

“tapi aku masih mencintaimu.” Ungkapku.

Lalu dia berhenti tapi masih membelakangiku.

“entah kenapa sampai detik ini aku masih mencintaimu. Bahkan aku sangat merindukanmu walapun aku tau semua itu gak akan bisa kembali.”

“kamu hanya perlu beradaptasi dengan dia.” Katanya yang masih membelakangiku.

“tapi aku sudah 1 tahun bersamanya.”

“teruslah seperti itu, kamu gak boleh meninggalkan orang yang tulus mencintaimu. Cukup aku saja yang menyesal atas ego-ku.” Ungkapnya

   Aku segera memeluknya dari belakang, aku tak bisa menahan perasaan ini. Aku merindukannya, sangat. Tak ada ucapan apapun saat aku memeluknya. “tuhan, andai waktu bisa berhenti sampai disini. Aku tak ingin moment ini berakhir.” Gumamku lirih.

Dia melepaskan pelukan ku lalu menghadap ke wajahku. Wajahnya masih seperti dulu, tenang. Aku masih merasa nyaman saat berada di dekatnya.

“Ren, ketika kamu baru pindah ke rumah baru. Kamu memang gak akan nyaman tapi kamu perlu beradaptasi dulu kan sampai akhirnya kamu akan merasa nyaman. Lakukan itu terus, aku tak ingin kamu merasakan penyesalan seperti yang aku rasakan. Cukup aku saja yang merasakan itu. Jangan meninggalkan orang yang bisa menerima semua kekuranganmu. Terkadang hatipun perlu di paksa.” Ungkapnya sambi mengusap air mataku.

Detik berikutnya dia memberikan kecupan di keningku. Lalu dia meninggalkan ku yang masih tak percaya dengan semua ini. Dia telah menyesal melakukan semua itu padaku  dan dia memintaku untuk tak melakukan itu pada orang lain karena tak ingin aku terluka. Vicky telah berubah menjadi lebih dewasa. Beberapa menit aku tersadar bahwa aku terlalu terbawa perasaan hingga aku tak dapat melihat kasih sayang yang tulus dari Angga. Aku menghampiri Angga yang duduk sendirian dengan kopi dan laptopnya. Dia tampak heran melihatku berseri-seri. “aku sayang sama kamu dan gak akan meninggalkanmu.” Ungkapku tiba-tiba pada Angga di akhiri dengan senyuman ku. Dia membelai rambutku “aku akan membahagiakan mu semampuku karena aku mencintaimu lebih dari diriku sendiri.” Balasnya. Aku melirik pada Vicky, dia mengangguk dan tersenyum..........

                                    Game Online are Bad Influence for children    

                              

Nowadays, when society development day by day, children have many chances to utilize advanced technology products. The use of computer games or game online is a specific example. As millions of gamer demonstrate, playing online is about friendship and cooperation, not just killing monsters. These games are a viable social network because players focus on teamwork. There are many student often play game online. Some people think they are dangerous for children others (argue) that they help children's development. In fact, game online are a bad influence and i believe that game online are dangerous for children.

For the first, Young people (children) often spend a great deal of time playing video games. These games are fun and engaging and young people often feel like playing games is a great thing to do in their spare time. But, game online also give addiction for gamer especially for children. There is a research by Nation Institute based on Minneapolis for media and family said that “game online can be addiction for children. It can increase depression and anxiousness for children, also, it causes children less study.” moreover, student gives priority to play game online than studying, like, doing assignment, reading a book. Even, It makes them will be independent person because they are less interaction. They are less communicate with people and don’t care about problem or condition around them because they focus on game online.

Secondly, game online can increase violence of children’s development. They had seen variety of violence action on game online, like, strike action, kill action, and others. Genetics tend to play a huge role in personality of children. Some children might have a tendency to be more rebellious and aggressive. Moreover, easier access to firearms in several countries can lead to violent thoughts and behaviors. "Guns can act as a stimulus because it reminds the children of aggressive behaviors seen on television or maybe in real life. If the children do not have a solid self-control, it can lead him to a violent behavior." (Williams) Self-control is one of the main aspects because no matter how many violent stimuli in the environment are, self-control can suppress one's violent and aggressive thoughts.

Thirdly, we talk about mental health. Game online can reduce stress, improve mental health after stressful studying or working. Besides that, Spending too much time on computer games may leads to health problems. Young people today seem to ignore health protection. They can spend time playing games all days instead of taking some sports or outdoor activities. The children will got health problems such as eye strain leads to short sightedness, backache, and obesity. A research which published on Psychology of Popular Media Culture 2012, had found that game online can cause less concentration. Although, it can increase concentrate ability in short-term. It can damage children’s concentrate in long-term.

In conclusion, there can be no doubt that spending too much time gaming is not good for children. Children will be lazy to study and don’t care about everything around them. It also make them to do violent like action of the game. It can break their concentration in long-time. There are no reason playing game online in spend-time because game online really has bad influence for children.

There is a little Family in Perth. There are father, mother, and two daughters. Their father was rarely at home because he had a job in other city, Sidney. The mother lived with two daughters, Shiney and Sheyna. They are not twins. They are sisters. Sheyna was born firstly and Shiney in seventh month later.  They are different, ranging from physical and nature. Shiney is beautiful, energetic, fashionable and talkative. She also likes hang out and shopping. This character was different with Sheyna. She is beautiful also but passive girl, unfashionable and talkative less. She don’t like hang out or shopping, she prefer to stay at home to reading novel or comic.
“what are you doing my sister?” asked Shiney whom suddenly entered Sheyna’s room.
Sheyna was look toward and close the book which she read.
“i am just reading a novel to spend my leisure time.” Sheyna answered.
Shiney sat on the edge of my bed. Her hands take Sheyna’s novel. She is looked at the novel with smile.
“This is new release right? I will borrow it.” Shiney said.
“You ever borrow my novel but you didn’t return it to me.” Sheyna Said with high tone.
She was laugh. Sheyna was upset. All of novel which borrowed by Shiney was never return in good condition. Usually the cover was tears. She also said the novel was lost after borrowed by her friends and anything else. She has many reason that make me upset.
“i promise this novel will return in good condition.” She said.
“no, you can’t borrow my novel again.” Sheyna answered while take her novel.
Shiney was stand up and go outside while slammed the door.
When mother and Sheyna had lunch, Shiney didn’t come to lunch. Mother asked Sheyna to called and invite her to lunch but she was refuse because she still upset to Shiney. “ Shiney was sleep maybe.” Sheyna said. Shiney’s bedroom was located in second floors. Sheyna still remember when they were fight to choose their bedroom. Their parent was made two bedrooms to them. The first are located in first floor and the second are located in second floors. Sheyna was choosed the second bedroom because she would more concentration within studying, do assignment, and reading novel. But, Shiney want to sleep in the second bedroom also. She was whine like a child to their father. Sheyna must give in. Their parent asked her to sleep in the first bedroom. Unfortunately, Sheyna never get quiet condition because Shiney usually turned on radio loudly. Sometimes she invited her friends to her bedroom and their laugh was disturbed Sheyna who doing assignment.
“Why you did not wake me up?” Shiney asked while rubbed his eyes like a child. Sheyna was silent as she continued to read the history book for the exam tomorrow. Shiney take the book and replace her question “why did not you wake me up sister?”.  “I did not wake up you because you look so tired honey” answered Sheyna calmly with her smile. She is trying to be patient. Shiney was smile. “Where is mother?” she asked again. “She is come to uncle’s house. If you get hungry, you take some meals in the kitchen.” Answered Sheyna while be continued read her book.  Shiney did not out from her sister room. She is thinking while smile to herself. She got idea. She persuaded Sheyna for a walk around to the mall. At first Sheyna was refusing because she will get exam for tomorrow, but Shiney whines like a child. At last she will. A few hours they had arrived in the mall. Shiney was invited her sister to buy some t-shirt and jeans. She was choosing t-shirt with bright color for Sheyna. Sheyna was refused it because she does not like everything which had brightly color but Shiney persuaded her. She also made up Sheyna with some accessories which make her upset.  Sheyna know that she is just kidding but she always get annoyed with it. Sheyna really hate her. She dislike with Shiney’s behavior.  They come back to home before night.
Arriving at home, their mother was upset. Sheyna also could not continue her study because she felt tired. Sheyna was blaming to Shiney. Shiney was tried to apologize. But, Sheyna still blame and did not talk to her. Shiney come to Sheyna’s room because she did not join in dinner. Sheyna was upset to Shiney. “You never think the impact of what you did. I had been refused to hang out but you whine to me like a child. The impact is mother mad to us. She was never blame to me before and the last you make me lost my good score. You know that this day i had got exam. I could not continue to study history yesterday because i feel tired. It is your fault. Yeah.. that’s all because of you.” Sheyna said angrily. She was also talked about all of novel which Shiney borrowed. She was blaming her because that novel was never come back in good condition. She was told her feeling since some years ago.  Shiney was just silent. A few moments, she go away from her sister’s. Sheyna was cried in her room lonely. She felt that she did is not herself. She usually patient and had been good sister. Shiney is good sister but Sheyna dislike her behavior. A few minutes, there was someone who knocked the door. She is their mother. She gives something to Sheyna. That is proof of registration to modeling contest by teen magazine. “Shiney had read your diary and she known that you want to be model. She had registering you. She care of you honey.” said mother with smile. Mother’s word was make Sheyna change her mind. She run away to meet Shiney and apologize. She was conscious what her thinking about Shiney is does not true. Actually, Shiney really care to her. Now, she felt that there is no one who add more the kindness of her sister.
